Violence at Warje: Gang attempts to kill youth over previous enmity

Chetan Maruti Shedge (24), a resident of Warje, has lodged a complaint (153/23) at the Warje police station. Accordingly, the police have arrested Gaurav Sanjay Shelke (21), Abhishek Navnath Sankat (19), both residents of Warje, Sachin Shankar Dalvi (23), a resident of Dangat Patil Nagar. An FIR has been registered against their aides Omkar Mandhre, Rohan Patole, Sahil Ballal and Amish Dhavre and they are criminals on record.
According to the police, the complainant and his friend Krishna Shingade were sitting near Pranav Super market in Ram Nagar at 11 pm on April 16. The accused came there with swords and sharp weapons. Sachin Dalvi asked the complainant about the whereabouts of Anna Dolse. When the complainant told them that he did not know where Dolse was, the accused assaulted with a sword and attempted to kill him. When his friend Krishna Shingade tried to save him, he was also injured.
