Gang creates ruckus at Pandav Nagar: Youth assaulted over gang rivalry, four cars and 14 two-wheelers vandalised

Sonu Sunil Awghade (25), a resident of PMC Colony, Pandav Nagar, has lodged a complaint (273/23) at the Chatuhshrungi police station. Accordingly, the police have arrested Rupesh Vitkar and Ismail Shaikh. An FIR has been registered against Chaptya Vitkar, Luvkush Chavan, Suraj Jadhav, Akshay Jadhav, Isan Pathan, Bablu Devkule, Chaitanya Pawar, Chimya and 18/20 others. The incident took place at Pandav Nagar on Monday midnight.
According to the police, the complainant and accused Rupesh Vitkar and Chaptya Vitkar stay in the same area in Pandav Nagar. The accused arrived in the complainant’s society carrying wooden logs. They vandalised vehicles parked in the parking area. Chaptya assaulted the complainant with a wooden log and Rupesh Vitkar assaulted him with a sharp weapon. However, he dodged the weapon and received injuries on his shoulder. The accused vandalised four cars, 14 two-wheelers and a three-wheeler. They also terrorised local residents by shouting. PSI Chalke is probing the case.
