Two held for murder of Vijay Kalokhe near Panshet
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A man living in the Vijay Lodge Building near the girls’ school in Appa Balwant Chowk, Pune, was killed, over a minor dispute, with an iron rod at Ranwadi (Tehsil – Velhe) within the limits of Kuran village on Ambegaon road near Panshet. His body was buried in a deep pit dug for the construction of a house to destroy the evidence. The incident came to light due to the vigilance of the Velhe police. (Pune Crime News)
The deceased has been identified as Vijay Prafulla Kalokhe (38) from Appa Balwant Chowk. The Velhe police have arrested Nitin Rambhau Nivangune and Vijay Dattatray Nivangune, both from Haveli. A case has been registered against them under Velhe Police Station jurisdiction for murder, destruction of evidence of murder and other sections. The incident happened from 2 pm on January 13 to 11 am on January 14. Police Naik Ajaykumar Shinde has lodged a complaint in this regard.
The police got a tip-off that Nitin Nivangune and Vijay Nivangune had killed a person and dumped his body in Nitin’s field. Assistant Police Inspector Manoj Pawar and PSI Mahesh Kadam visited the spot. Both have been arrested after a thorough investigation.
