Traffic police are now given jackets, Mask and Batons

Pimpri: npnews24Online – Bajaj Company has distributed security materials like jackets, masks, batons and goggles to 200 traffic policemen of Pimpri-Chinchwad to avoid cold, sun and pollution. This will help the traffic police to smooth the city’s traffic. At a function organized at the office of the Hinjewadi Industrial Association, the materials were distributed to the Commissioner of Police Sandeep Bishnoi.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Sudhir Hiremath, Assistant Commissioner of Police Nilima Jadhav, Bajaj Company Officer Sanjay Khadse, Sameer Chaughule and all the top officers of the Traffic Police Department were present in the literature distribution program. In this program, traffic policemen distributed woolen jackets to protect against the cold, black goggles to avoid sunlight, masks to avoid pollution and batons containing light for traffic control.

Traffic police personnel work in pollution. This increases the amount of carbon dioxide in their body. To reduce this ratio, some hospitals have been set up in each traffic police department. Free oxygen will be provided to the traffic police personnel in these hospitals. A presentation of this feature was also given in this program. Police Commissioner Sandeep Bishnoi said, “This help provided by Bajaj Company through CSR Fund will be a great help to the traffic police. Traffic police face pollution daily. Citizens still dispute with the traffic police. This problem is most common in Hinjewadi and Chakan areas. Therefore, citizens need to be educated about traffic rules.
