1. Mother India – Ever green Mother India best patriotic film to date, which you can watch this Independence Day. which realise on 1957 by Mehboob khan. It was first Indian movie nominated for the Academy Award for best Foreign Language film in 1958. it is the story of a poverty-stricken village woman named Radha (Nargis), who in the absence of her husband, struggles to raise her sons and survive against a cunning money-lender amidst many troubles. Despite her hardships, she sets a goddess-like moral example of an ideal Indian woman.

Rang de Basanti – Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Rang de Basanti’ is modern take on how the youth of India are ready to raise their voice against corruption within our own country and fight against to eracdicate it completely. the film broke all opening box office records in India. It was the highest-grossing film in its opening weekend in India and had the highest opening day collections for a Bollywood film. The film was well received and praised for strong screenplay and dialogues. With the vibrant and energetic music has served this film as an added advantage.

3. Lagaan – The film is set in the Victorian period of India’s colonial British Raj. The story revolves around a small village whose inhabitants, burdened by high taxes, find themselves in an extraordinary situation as an arrogant officer challenges them to a game of cricket as a wager to avoid the taxes. The narrative spins around this situation as the villagers face the arduous task of learning the alien game and playing for a result that will change their village’s destiny. Its biggest box office hits of 2001 which showed a cricket match between the Local and their British ruler who challenged them.

4. Border – Border is a 1997 Indian war film based on the Battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, produced and directed by J. P. Dutta. The film starred an ensemble cast of Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The film is an adaptation from real life events that happened at the Battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. ‘Border’ is still considered one of the best films in the history of Indian cinema which showcases the struggle of Indian Soldiers.

5. Kranti – Kranti is a 1981 Indian epic historical drama film, produced and directed by Manoj Kumar. The film takes place in the 19th Century British India and is the story of the fight for independence from the British between 1825 and 1875. The film tells the story of men that lead the war against British Rule. The film is set in the pre-independence era and marked the return of Dilip Kumar after a five year hiatus on the Silver screen.
