Terror group planned to poison maha prasad

NPnews24 online : A group of terror suspects arrested from Mumbra near Mumbai were planning to poison maha Prasad given out to devotees at the ancient Mumbreshwar temple, the charge sheet filed by Maharashtra Anti- Terror Squad in a Mumbai court.

The terror group inspired by the Islamic State and avid follower of Islamic preacher Zakir Naik. The social media profile of the accused revealed several videos of Zakir Naik on their accounts. They allegedly are planning to target 400-year-old Mumbreshwar temple in Mumbra and posion the maha Prasad to kill around 400 Hindu devotees.

The group had planned a mass killing of devotees at the 400-year-old Shree Mumbreshwar temple, senior ATS official said.

According to the charge sheet, some of the accused arrested also attended physical training sessions for terror activities at a stadium in Mumbra.
