Take Care of Your SHOULDERS & NECK During Work From Home

Pune : Coronavirus has led to the lockdown in many countries. So that people can remain in their homes and work for their office. There will be many of you who will have to do office work from their home even in lockdown. Many people complain that by sitting for long periods of time, they have pain in their neck and shoulders. People take many remedies to get rid of that pain, but sometimes it is difficult to get relief from those measures too.

If you are facing the same problem, then follow some of specific steps and get rid of pain quickly.

Door-Way Pectoral :

1- Stand in an open gate. Raise each hand upward, bend the palms forward at 90 degrees and rest your palms on the door frame.

2- Move slowly with one foot. Feel the stretch in your shoulders and chest. Stand upright and do not lean forward.

3- Hold for 30 seconds. Step back and relax. Repeat this 3 times a day.

Chin Tucks :

1- Keep your neck in a relaxed position. Restrain your chin to your neck without stopping your breath. You should feel a slight stretch around the upper neck.

2- Stay in the same position for 2 to 3 to 5 seconds. Gently bring your neck back to a normal position. You can do this 10 to 12 times a day.

3- If you spend a few hours every day in front of the computer, you can do these two workouts every two hours. This will help reduce the tension of your neck and shoulders as well as reduce the tension of your neck muscles.
