SSC takes action against ‘Atmosphere 6’ hotel in airport area for playing loud music; sound system, DJ mixer seized

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | Action is being taken by the Social Security Cell (SSC) of the Pune Police Crime Branch against hotels and pubs, which are causing noise pollution by playing loud music till late night in the city. Action has been taken on Tuesday night against ‘Atmosphere 6’ hotel in the airport area, which violated the rules and continued to play loud music till late night. In this action, the police seized a sound system, DJ mixer worth Rs 2.10 lakh. (Pune Crime News)

 

The SSC is taking action against the hotels for exceeding the noise limit and violating the order of the Supreme Court. The team received a tip-off that the sound system was on till late night at the Atmosphere 6 hotel on the sixth floor of Lunkad Skymax Mall in the airport area. When the team inspected the place, it was found that the sound system was being played by violating the rules after 10 pm. Accordingly, the police seized the sound system, DJ mixer worth Rs 2.10 lakh. Also, a case has been filed against the hotel at the Airport Police Station under Environment Act, 1986 under Noise Pollution Act.
The action was taken by a team comprising Sr PI Bharat Jadhav, API Ashwini Patil, Police Constables Rajendra Kumawat, Bab Karfe, Tushar Bhivarkar, Hanmant Kamble, Imran Nadaf, Sandeep Kolge, Amit Jamdade under the guidance of CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Crime Ramnath Pokale, DCP Crime Amol Zende.
