Soon Cooler night to witness :IMD

Pune: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – After the moderate rainfall witnessed in Pune city soon the pink winter will commence where the night will turn cooler said Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) while in India Temperatures this winter is likely to be slightly above normal owing to El-Nino.

In Central India, there was 52 percent deficient, northwest India reported 72 percent deficient, southern peninsula reported 24 percent deficient and east and northeast India reported 54 percent deficient rainfall during the same time.

The El-Nino phenomenon, which is associated with the warming of Pacific waters with a far-reaching impact on the climate of the Indian subcontinent and several parts on Asia, is developing, he said.

Rainfall in Maharashtra On Thursday, rainfall in parts of the State was reported in central Maharashtra and Konkan and Goa.

On Friday, IMD reported that the highest maximum temperature in the State was at Jalgaon at 36.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest minimum temperature was at Osmanabad at 15.6 degrees Celsius.

IMD has forecasted that till October 21, there may be rainfall in Konkan and Goa and central Maharashtra. During the same time, Marathwada and Vidarbha will experience dry weather.
