Sign of Big Danger? Earthquake Tremors Hit Delhi-NCR For the 11th Time in a Month & a Half

New Delhi : In the last one and a half months, the National Capital Region (NCR), including Delhi, has suffered 11 earthquake tremors. Low intensity tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR on Wednesday. The epicenter of the earthquake was southeast Noida. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake measured 3.2 on the richter scale. Experts believe that this is a sign of great danger for NCR in the coming times behind the frequent earthquakes. People need to be vigilant.

It is being told that in Delhi-NCR, the energy is being released due to the activation of the plates inside the earth, due to which the tremors are felt intermittently. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), there have been tremors in Delhi-NCR on April 12, 13 and 16. Similarly, the earthquake tremors continued in May. Tremors occurred in Delhi-Faridabad NCR on 6, 10, 15 May and 28 May. This was followed by two setbacks on May 29, with the center being Rohtak.

According to the National Seismological Center, during this period, earthquake tremors occurred one time in Rajasthan, four in Uttarakhand and six in Himachal Pradesh. However, the magnitude of the tremors ranged from 2.2 to 4.5 on the richter scale. There is a possibility of loss in case of shock of higher intensity.
