Vivek Khandekar, Chief Conservator of Forrest said, “Tigers in India are left vulnerable with numbers of 1,411 only and the next species will be Ladakhi Wild Dogs which are in-danger with few hundred. As we ‘Human’ part of our ecosystem are believed to be the cause for our own extinction. Only one human species has depleted and ruled over millions of species for centuries. Now it’s time to maintain the balance as we only are capable to do that. We are an inseparable part of everything around us.”

For last 100 years we have vanished a large number of species than the 2000 years collectively did. And to measure that extinction the wildlife film festival will play a role of scale.
