Pune: One week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Advancements in VLSI Design” organized at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering (BV(DU)COE), Pune in association with AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy. The sessions of the FDP are designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of VLSI design methodologies, emerging trends, and practical applications through a series of workshops, lectures, and hands-on sessions. It offers a unique platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among industry experts, academicians, and researchers.

Speaking further in his keynote address, Mr. Niranjan Pol shed light on the future prospects of VLSI in India, emphasizing its pivotal role in driving technological innovation and economic growth because of its application in the creation of highly complex and powerful electronic devices.

Explaining the crucial role of VLSI in various sectors such as communication systems, Internet of Things (IoT), medical instruments, etc. he stated VLSI is a solid career choice and offers job opportunities for Electronics and Communication Engineering freshers pursuing core employment and also vast opportunities for research.

Dr. Vidula Sohoni, Principal BV(DU)COE, welcomed the guests and participants. She mentioned the various accolades of the university and institute. She said that intentions of such faculty development programs is to impart knowledge on current industry trends and to give proper direction to acquire the latest knowledge and aid hands on practice as well to latest trends.
