Pune Weather Update : Heavy rain alert for Pune! Possibility of rain for 3 days in the state

Pune : The monsoon has been missing from the state for the last two weeks. But now, the monsoon is slowly returning to the state. Several places in the state have received rains in the last two days. Even today, except for a few districts, cloudy weather has been recorded all over the state. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Marathwada, Central Maharashtra and Ghat areas today.

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued yellow alerts in all parts of Maharashtra except Palghar, Mumbai, Gondia, Gadchiroli and Bhandara districts. After this, the rains will continue in the state for the next three days from today. The monsoon is likely to disappear from the state again in two days. Rain showers are expected in parts of Central Maharashtra, North Maharashtra and Vidarbha tomorrow.

Moderate to torrential rains are expected in Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli, Latur, Beed, Osmanabad, Ahmednagar, Nashik, Dhule, Satara and Sangli districts in the next three to four hours. There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms and strong winds. In the meantime, scientists from the Meteorological Department have advised people not to leave their homes when lightning flashes in the sky.

Today, the meteorological department has issued a yellow alert to Pune, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Kolhapur districts. But light to moderate rain is expected here. Cloudy weather has been recorded here since this morning. Therefore, rain showers are likely to fall in a few places in the evening.
