PUNE: Pune Traffic | Pune faces a serious problem of traffic jams. Citizens have to face many problems because of traffic chaos at many chowks. According to many people, the traffic problems have worsened after the coronavirus pandemic. At present, one of the chowks is a subject of discussion because of traffic woes.

The Traffic Police take strict action against those violating traffic rules. Public awareness campaigns are carried out through various mediums to inform citizens about the need to observe traffic rules. The Traffic Police take action against unauthorised parking, wrong side driving and driving on footpaths.
Citizens have to face traffic jams at many places apart from Kondhwa Chowk. There are regular traffic jams on Nagar Road, Solapur Road, Baner Road, Shivaji Nagar, Sinhagad Road, Satara Road, Navle Bridge, Navle Bridge to Katraj Chowk, Hinjewadi, Kondhwa, Wagholi, Hadapsar, Mundhwa, Pashan-Sus, Kharadi, University Chowk and Karve Road.
