Pune – Three MBA students drown in Mulshi dam water

NPnews24 Online Pune : Three students of Bharti Vidyapeeth in Pune, who were part of a group which went to the Mulshi dam for picnic, drowned on Thursday. The body of one girl has been fished out, while search is on for two others.

The deceased have been identified as Sangeeta Negi (22), Shubham Raj Sinha (22) and Shiv Kumar (22).

According to police, 10 students studying MBA at the university went to Mulshi dam on Wednesday, which was holiday on the occasion of Maharashtra Day (May 1). They spent the night there and in the morning today some of them entered the backwaters of Mulshi dam. However, the two young men and a girl drowned in the water.

After the other students raised alarms, the local residents fished out body of the girl. Now the search for two others is going on.
