Pune: Shocking Sexual Assault of 16-Year-Old Minor; Parvati Police Apprehend Two Culprits

Pune: In a reprehensible action, a 20-year-old boy forcefully raped a 16-year-old minor girl by threatening her with revealing their relationship status to her parents. In this regard, Parvati police have arrested a 20-year-old youth and his accomplice, who helped him in this case.

A 32-year-old mother of a victim girl filed a complaint about this heinous incident at Parvati police station on Friday, March 15. As per the complaint, the prime accused, Sanket Malhari Shinde, lured the minor daughter of a plaintiff and entrapped her in the relationship. By enticing her with a marriage proposal, the accused, Sanket Shinde, asked her to meet at a nearby place in her house.

When the girl refused to meet him, the accused threatened her with revealing their relationship status to her parents. Shockingly, when the victim girl went to meet the accused, the accused forcefully had sexual relations with her. It has been further mentioned in the complaint that the accused’s friends, Vijay Yallappa Narayankar and Yash Rajendra Jadhav, both residents of Janata Vashat, Pune, assisted him.

Acting immediately on the complaint, Parvati police booked all the accused under IPC 376/2/J/N, 506, and the POCSO Act and arrested Shinde and Jadhav. One of the accused, Narayankar, is at large, and Parvati police are currently investigating further in this case under the leadership of Assistant Police Inspector Ghavte.
