Pune Police Whatsapp Number | Direct Line to Justice: Pune City Police Launches WhatsApp Reporting for Citizens

Pune : Pune Police Whatsapp Number | In an effort to enhance public engagement and ensure the safety of citizens, the Pune City Police has introduced a new WhatsApp service for reporting complaints. Citizens can now directly reach out to Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar by sending messages to the designated WhatsApp number, 8975953100. This initiative aims to provide an accessible platform for residents of Pune to voice their concerns, offer suggestions, and provide feedback on women’s safety in their respective areas.

With the introduction of this service, the police commissioner hopes to strengthen communication channels between the police department and the public. Citizens can utilize the WhatsApp number at any time to report incidents or share information related to public safety. The police will review these complaints and take appropriate action accordingly.

Furthermore, the Pune City Police has also emphasized the importance of utilizing the emergency services hotline number, 112, in case of immediate assistance or emergency situations. Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik has provided detailed information regarding this emergency helpline.

These new measures come in the wake of recent incidents such as the Darshana Pawar Murder Case and an attack on a girl in Sadashiv Peth, which prompted the police to reinforce their efforts in maintaining law and order. Alongside these developments, the police have initiated a city-wide combing operation to ensure the safety and security of the residents of Pune.
