Pune PMRDA News | Pune’s Affordable Housing Project in Jadhavwadi Sector 12 Receives Smooth Electricity Connections

Pune : Pune PMRDA News | PMRDA’s affordable housing project in Jadhavwadi Sector 12 is making rapid progress, with thousands of beneficiaries already receiving possession of their new homes. To ensure that these houses have immediate access to electricity, ‘Mahavitran’ has made special arrangements to provide new electricity connections. However, there have been rumors circulating about a shortage of electricity meters, causing confusion among the beneficiaries.

Addressing this concern, ‘Mahavitran’ has clarified that there is no shortage of new electricity meters for the Jadhavwadi project. They have planned to provide new connections to approximately 4,885 houses, and they have an additional stock of two thousand electricity meters. The power distribution company has appealed to the beneficiaries to disregard any information about a shortage of meters.

‘Mahavitran’ has already received over two thousand seven hundred applications for new electricity connections, and they have processed most of them. Out of these, 1,777 customers who have paid the quotation amount have already been provided with new connections. The company emphasizes that they are fully equipped to meet the demand for electricity meters in the Jadhavwadi project.

To facilitate the process, ‘Mahavitran’ has set up a dedicated help room at their branch office in Bhosari village. Two additional employees have been appointed to assist applicants with filling online forms, document verification, quotation issuance, meter installation, and connection activation. This streamlined approach aims to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for the beneficiaries.

In order to apply for a new electricity connection, PMRDA beneficiaries who have not yet filled out the online application are advised to visit the Bhosari village office with the necessary documents, including the allotment letter and Aadhaar card. It is important to note that no third party should be approached for financial demands in exchange for an electricity connection, and any such incidents should be reported directly to the concerned authorities at ‘Mahavitran’.

‘Mahavitran’ is committed to providing uninterrupted power supply to the affordable housing units in Jadhavwadi Sector 12. They assure the beneficiaries that they are fully prepared to handle the electricity connection requirements of the project and urge them to approach the designated office for any assistance or complaints.
