Pune Crime News | Auto driver snatches e-challan machine from policewoman; Slashes his body with blade
PUNE : Pune Crime News | An incident has been reported wherein an autorickshaw driver injured himself after slashing his body with a blade after snatching an e-challan machine from a policewoman because she was taking action against him for parking his vehicle in a no parking area.
The Bund Garden police have arrested Vrishabh Baba Pise (23), a resident of Yerawada for obstructing government work. Police Naik Dipmala Raju Nayar has lodged a complaint (216/23) at the Bund Garden police station. The incident took place near the entrance gate of the Pune railway station on Monday at 12.30 pm.
According to the police, Vrishabh Pise was waiting with his auto in a no parking area. The complainant was taking action by using an e-challan machine. Pise snatched the machine from her hand and threatened to teach her a lesson and slashed his body with a blade. The police apprehended him and arrested him. PSI Waghmare is probing the case.
