Pune News | Maha Vikas Aghadi Leads Protest Demanding Action Against Sambhaji Bhide for Objectionable Statements Against Mahatma Gandhi
Pune: Pune News | In a charged demonstration at Saswad, Purandar Taluka, members of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) voiced their strong disapproval against Shiv Pratishthan President, Sambhaji Bhide, accusing him of making objectionable statements against revered figures like Mahatma Gandhi, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Saibaba, and others. The protestors submitted a complaint to the Saswad Police Station, urging immediate action and the registration of a case against Bhide for his controversial remarks.
The public protest drew significant attention, with a multitude of attendees present to express their concerns. Among the prominent leaders were Sanjay Chandukaka Jagtap, MLA Purandar Haveli Constituency, Purandar Taluka Congress Committee President, Pradeep Anna Poman, Congress General Secretary Ganesh Jagtap, Purandar Taluka NCP President Manik Zende, former Z. P. Member Sudam Appa Ingle, and NCP spokesperson Vijay Kolte. Shiv Sena leader, Abhijit Jagtap, and a large number of Maha Vikas Aghadi workers also stood in solidarity.
The gathering was a manifestation of the community’s collective disappointment and outrage over the alleged derogatory statements made by Sambhaji Bhide. The Maha Vikas Aghadi leaders and supporters demanded swift action by the authorities to ensure accountability and uphold the dignity of the revered personalities mentioned in the contentious remarks.
