Pune News | Demolition Drive in Ambegaon Budruk, Illegal Buildings Razed to the Ground

Pune : Pune News | Illegal constructions in Ambegaon Budruk area have faced demolition as the City Construction Department takes action against unauthorized buildings. Survey no. 36 and 46, as well as Agam Mandir Survey No. 66, were targeted in the recent crackdown, resulting in the demolition of 11,500 square feet of illegal construction land.

 

Despite previous notices issued by the City Construction Department Zone No. 2 regarding ongoing illegal constructions in the Ambegaon area, construction activities continued unabated in the specified survey numbers. In response, the City Construction Department Zone No. 2 took decisive action against the unauthorized constructions.

 

Led by Construction Development Department Superintendent Engineer Yuvraj Deshmukh, the team, comprising Executive Engineer Hemant More, Deputy Engineer Praveen Bhavsar, and Branch Engineers Prashant More, Abhijit Bhujbal, and Amol Punde, executed the demolition under police supervision.

 

This move has sent shockwaves among illegal businessmen who deceive unsuspecting citizens by carrying out unauthorized constructions in the area.

 

Branch Engineer Abhijit Bhujbal emphasized that individuals should not engage in unauthorized constructions without obtaining municipal permission, as it only brings harm upon themselves. The City Construction Department remains committed to taking regular action against such unlawful activities and will not support or condone unauthorized constructions.
