Four women MLAs, including Madhuri Misal, cheated
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Cyber Crime | MLA Madhuri Misal and three other women legislators were cheated on the pretext of seeking medical help. A complaint has been lodged by Misal’s daughter Puja, a resident of Camp, at the Bibvewadi police station. (Pune Cyber Crime)
The police have booked Mukesh Rathod and a smart phone owner. According to the details, Rathod called up MLA Madhuri Misal and told her that his mother was hospitalized in Baner and needed money for her treatment. He gave her a Google Pay number and asked her to send Rs 3,400. Misal sent the money. Similarly, he also took money on the same pretext from Mesal’s colleagues and MLAs Meghana Bordikar Sakore, Devyani Farande and Shweta Mahale.
Puja Satish Misal had earlier lodged a complaint with the cyber police, who transferred the case to the Bibvewadi after conducting preliminary investigation.
Senior PI Vilas Sonde is investigating further.
