Pune Crime News | Externed criminal arrested for moving around in Pune by Kondhwa police
PUNE : Pune Crime News | The Kondhwa police have arrested an externed criminal for moving around in the city without taking prior permission from Lullanagar Chowk.
The arrested accused has been identified as Jayesh Sunil Bhandari (22), a resident of Mohammadwadi. Jayesh Bhandari has been externed from Pune city for a year by the Wanawadi police.
Police officials and policemen were checking the list of criminals on police records and externed criminals. The Kondhwa police came to know that Jayesh Bhandari was standing at the Lullanagar Chowk. The police laid a trap according to the guidance of senior officials and arrested him. When asked whether he had taken permission of the DCP or court to enter the city, he said he had not taken any permission. Hence, action was taken against him under section 142 of the Maharashtra Police Act.
Addl CP Ranjan Kumar Sharma, DCP Vikrant Deshmukh, ACP Shahuraje Salve guided Sr PI Santosh Sonawane, PI Sanjay Mogale, PI Sandeep Bhosale who instructed API Anil Survase and his team in arresting the accused.
