Pune Crime News | Crime Branch arrests man in Warje for house burglaries; Five crimes come to light

PUNE : Pune Crime News | A team of unit 3 of Pune police Crime Branch has arrested a notorious goon from Chaitanya Chowk area in Warje Malwadi for committing house burglaries. Five burglaries have come to light with his arrest and the police have seized items worth ₹2 lakh.

The accused has been identified as Rohit Vasant Pasalkar (32), a resident of Dhayari. Officials and policemen of unit 3 of Crime Branch were checking criminals on record in Warje Malwadi police station limits. Havaldar Rajendra Marne and Police Naik Sanjeev Kalmabe came to know that Rohit Pasalkar, who has a habit of enjoying with stolen money, was going to arrive at Chaitanya Chowk.

The information was verified and Pasalkar was arrested under guidance of senior officials. When he was questioned, he admitted committing house burglaries. The police seized gold, silver ornaments and a mobile totally worth ₹2 lakh from him. Rohit Pasalkar is a criminal on police records and 20 FIRs of house burglaries, robbery and causing injuries are registered against him.

The action was taken under the guidance of CP Ritesh Kumar, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Amol Zende, ACP Sunil Tambe by Sr PI Shrihari Bahirat, PSI Ajitkumar Patil, PSI Rahul Pawar, API Santosh Kshirsagar, Havaldar Rajendra Marne, Sharad Wakse, Kiran Pawar, Surendra Sable, Sanjit Kalambe, Dnyaneshwar Chitte, Satish Katrale, Pratap Padval, Prakash Katte, Sainath Patil, Saikumar Karke, Sonam Nevse and Bhagyashree Waghmare in taking the action.
