PMPML to allow women to travel for free in Tejaswini buses on eighth of every month

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – PMPML | From March 8, women passengers will be able to travel by Tejaswini buses without paying any charges on the eighth of every month. In 2019, PMPML had allowed women to travel by Tejaswini buses for free on the eighth of every month on the occasion of International Women’s Day. (PMPML)

Twenty eight buses had been started on 23 routes for women. However, this scheme had been stopped during the coronavirus pandemic. Now, this service is being started since the situation has become normal after the significant reduction in coronavirus cases.

Hence, this scheme is being started from March 8. PMPML has appealed to women commuters to travel by Tejaswini buses without buying any tickets.
