Policemen from constable to inspector will get 20 days leave per year, announces Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis

MUMBAI : NpNews24 Online  – Devendra Fadnavis | Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis while speaking in the Legislative Assembly on Friday said that instead of 12 casual leaves per annum which are granted to police officials from the rank of constable to inspector, maximum 20 days leave for special purpose would be granted. A GR has been issued dated October 3, 2022, he said. (Devendra Fadnavis)

 

Fadnavis said there was a discussion on the supplementary demands of home, agriculture, animal husbandry, milk and fisheries, PWD, power and labour departments. The MLAs made various suggestions according to the problems in their constituencies.

 

Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, Culture Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, PWD Minister Ravindra Chavan, Industry Minister Uday Samant and Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar informed the MLAs that the suggestions will be discussed in a positive manner and they would be informed about the developments.
