Passport police verification in week 

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – The Pune city police commissionerate special branch has come up with a deadline of police verification time for passports to an average for a week from the maximum time of 21 days to eight days.

Earlier the Pune city commissioner Dr. K Venkatesham had announced the police verification span down to 11 days and working on it more effectively such will be carried in eight days duration.

The  Regional passport office (RPO) Anant Takwale of Pune assured and claims this such initiative will begin by the end of this month that is October. After the Pune city Commissionerate pattern similar will be soon operated in the newly formed Pimpri Chinchwad Commissionerate jurisdiction.

Ashok Morale the deputy commissioner of police (Special branch ) said, ” as our police officer visit the house and if such applicants not in their houses we are making continues follow-up and to overcome it for our own staffers have come with an system of incentive technology wherein a tab is maintain of the application duration based on our past experiences.”

RPO Takwale said, “the Pune city police has sent us a proposal requesting for two more additional dongle that enables the police to access data and applications forward by the Passport Seva Kendra and such will send the verification report to the RPO.”

Such police verification brings down to a week will help the applicants to get the passport within 12 to 15-day duration.
