Karachi : Pakistan wants to misuse UN platform on Kashmir issue. During the new UNGA President Volkan Bojkir’s visit to Pakistan, Pakistan has tried its best to raise the issue of Section 370 and Kashmir. But on Monday, the UN General Assembly – UNGA President reminded Pakistan of the Shimla Agreement.

He cited the Shimla Agreement to resolve all bilateral issues including Kashmir. This is a big shock for Pakistan. Actually, there is a friendly relationship between Turkey and Pakistan. Both are Islamic countries. Turkey’s diplomat Volkan Bojkir was elected UNGA’s president in June itself. Pakistan was very excited about this visit.

Pakistan felt that this would be the right time to give air to Kashmir issue. Once before this tour was postponed. Sources said that the Imran government had been waiting for such an opportunity for a long time to raise the long-running Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan.

For this, the UNGA The president was summoned to Pakistan, Pakistan’s foreign minister Qureshi’s intention to have a meeting with Bojkir was clear when he said his focus would be to bring the situation in Kashmir to the UNGA. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan also raised the Kashmir issue loudly.

Sources said India is eyeing the visit of the UNGA President to Pakistan. India has also strongly opposed Pakistan’s attempt to misuse the UN platform for the Kashmir issue. China’s help has also not worked for Pakistan. Most countries have support in favor of India. However, Turkey has also been with Pakistan. But India believes that Turkey’s diplomat’s attitude as UNGA president would be compatible with established standards.
