One step towards greenhouse farming …

 

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Nowadays, farmers’ suicides has increased as the farmers are facing death because of the over burden of debt. They stuck into the moneylender’s trap, which has become very difficult for the farmers to live in country like India, which is known as agricultural country. The number of farmers in the country are declining to leave farming. At such situation, adopting new trends like ‘Greenhouse Farming’ can be the solution for farmer’s problem.

 

Green houses are built by using materials like, wood, bamboo, iron poles, aluminium pillars to make a skeleton and cover it with transparent polypills or use plastic as a covering. In this way the interior environment can be fully or partly controlled and all the activities of the farm work are done in the interior. This is called greenhouse farming (green house).

The plastic cover of this house avoid the entering of harmful sun rays to inside and stops the heat coming from inside. Apart from this, it increases the photosynthesis process by storing carbon dioxide gas at night. As well as the temperature, humidity, is also controlled. This improves productivity and improves product quality and quality.

 

The crops can be protected from the excessive heat, cold, heavy rain and other ecological imbalances in Green House by creating required artificial environment.

The crops, fruits, vegetables and flowers can be harvested during other periods except its seasons. Therefore, crops can be produced according to the Market requirements for getting more profits.  So, It is possible to get financial gain, by supplying the goods throughout the year.

 

In particular, the greenhouse farming can be done on inappropriate land. Hybrid seeds are easy to cultivate in the greenhouse and can be harvested in a crop production that meets the criteria for export.
