No threatening letter sent to Ambanis: Jaish-ul-Hind

MUMBAI: The Mumbai police stated that the threat letter sent to Mukesh Ambani by ‘Jaish ul Hind’ is fake.

According to the information given by the Mumbai police, a rumour was spread that the terror outfit, Jaish-ul-Hind had written a threatening letter to the owner of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani.

Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani live in Mumbai and in front of their house ‘Antilia’, an abandoned car with gelatin sticks, a bag with the Mumbai Indians logo, and a threatening letter was seized on Thursday.

‘Jaish-ul-Hind’ released a banner with the title “No Threat to Ambani from Jaish-ul-Hind” in which it was mentioned that their fight is not with industrialist Mukesh Ambani they will cause no threat to him and won’t even take money from him.

The banner stated, “This morning we saw Indian news outlets flashing news that we Jaish-ul-Hind took the responsibility behind incident happened outside Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani’s residence. We condemn Indian Intelligence agencies for morphing and making a fake poster on the behest of Jaish-ul-Hind”.

The terror outfit ‘Jaish-ul-Hind’ said they have no connection with the Telegram account used for claiming the responsibility of the threatening letter.

The Banner clearly stated, ‘Jaish-ul-Hind will never ransom from kuffars [infidels] and has no fight with Indian business tycoons, We fight against the fascism of BJP & RSS, We are fighting against the misdeeds of Narendra Modi against innocent Muslims of hind. We are fighting for shariah, not for money, We are fighting against secular democracy, not Ambani.”

According to the information a joint investigation is being conducted by the NIA and 10 teams of Mumbai police on the case. In the investigation till now, CCTV footage was recovered from Mulund toll plaza in which a person was seen in Innova car who parked the Scorpio in front of Mukesh Ambani’s house. The person was seen last moving towards Maharashtra border.

DCP S Chaitanya stated that according to the banner of the terror outfit ‘Jaish-ul-Hind’, there is no threat to the Ambani family. Officials are investigating the core of the banner released. The social media account from where the banner was released is having general public access to the account.
