New Delhi : npnws24 : Many Muslim organizations have expressed their displeasure over Waris Pathan’s statement.  A minority social organization of Muzaffarpur has announced a reward of 11 lakh rupees for beheading the Waris Pathan.
Waris Pathan, spokesperson of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), gave a disputed statement on Thursday during a gathering in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Citizenship Register (NRC).  In the midst of the political turmoil that Pathan issued on this statement, now Muslim organizations have also come out against him.
On Friday, some Hindu and Muslim organizations protested against Pathan at Company Bagh Road in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Many Muslim organizations have expressed their displeasure over Pathan’s statement. A minority social organization of Muzaffarpur has announced a reward of 11 lakh rupees to beheading Waris Pathan. Tamanna Hashmi, the convener of a social organization named Haq-e-Hindustan Morcha, strongly condemned Pathan’s statement and said it was anti-national.
As a protest, people hit the picture of Pathan on the poster with shoes and lit it. People described Pathan’s statement as anti-national and drew severe criticism. Significantly, Bihar is the only state after Hyderabad and Maharashtra, where Asaduddin Owaisi’s party exists. Owaisi’s party was successful in winning the by-election for Kishanganj assembly seat in the state a few months ago.
Encouraged by the victory over the Kishanganj seat, AIMIM has announced to field its candidates in all the seats of Bihar in this year’s assembly elections. In such a situation, the party may be harmed by the statement of Waris Pathan. In the presence of Asaduddin Owaisi, Pathan had said that we are 15 crore, but will be enough for 100 crore. Pathan made this statement at an anti-CAA public meeting in Gulbarga, Karnataka.
