Jivan Gaikwad is the name of an engineer. The executive engineer Gaikwad, was being admitted and treatment is going from last eight days in a private hospital of Pune, where today he dies. The administration has awakened after the Municipal Corporation Officer himself got caught in dengue.

After swine flu has started panic in the area now Dengue disease is also spreading rapidly in Pimpri Chinchwad city. Dengue patients are increasing day by day in the city. The figure of swine flu patients has so far crossed more than 200. So far 24 patients have been caught in this disease. Like swine flu, dengue disease is also spreading rapidly. A total of 103 patients of dengue have been found in the city to date. In addition to swine flu and dengue, other infectious diseases are also spreading in the city. Since January, there are 23 patients of malaria and eight patients from Chikungunya are found till now. Municipal Corporation’s Health Department has urged people not to ignore any kind of fever or flu and immediately rush for medical advice.
