Mumbai: RBI official attacked and strangled by miscreants in BKC 

Mumbai: A 53-year-old Reserve Bank of India (RBI) official was allegedly attacked by a bunch of miscreants in BKC on Sunday (January 24). The robber strangled the official to unconsciousness and stole his phone.

The official lives in RBI staff quarters in BKC. On Sunday night, the complainant was walking around 11 pm when suddenly robbers attacked him from behind and tried to strangle him. As soon as the official fell unconscious, the miscreants stole his mobile phone and ran away.

The official lodged a complaint with BKC Police station. ccording to the report, BKC police registered a case against a stranger on Monday morning. The police are trying to trace the accused with the help of CCTV and mobile phone’s GPS. An inquiry has been further launched and the case is under investigation.
