Minor raped by 19-year-old who helped her grandmother to run errands

Nagpur: In an unpleasant incident in napur, a man allegedly abducted and raped a 15-year-old from Sakkarada for 18 consecutive days. After the incident, the girl was taken aback and informed her grandmother about what had transpired. Subsequently, a case has been registered and Yashodharanagar police arrested the accused.

According to the information given by the police, the victim’s grandmother has filed a complaint in this matter, Police have registered a case against Surya Jambhulkar (19), resident of Azari-Majri. The incident took place in a village near Kalamana in Azari-Majri area.

According to the FIR, the victim lives with her grandmother in Sakkarada area. Shhe got acquainted with Surya as he used to help her grandmother to run errands. The victim’s grandmother had been ill for the past 18 days and was hospitalized.

Surya found this opportunity and took the victim to a house in in a village near Kalamana in Azari-Majri area and kept her captive for 18 days. There he allegedly raped her for 18 consecutive days again and again. The victim some how managed to inform her grandmother about the whole incident. After that, a case has been registered at Yashodharanagar police. Police inspector Ashok Meshram sent a team to search for Surya and arrested him on Tuesday
