Man arrested for cheating investors of ₹86 lakh

PUNE : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | The police have arrested a man who cheated 32 people of ₹86 lakh by promising them attractive returns if they invested money in his Real Value Enterprises. (Pune Crime News)

The accused has been identified as Nilesh Girish Joshi (45), a resident of Kothrud. The police have registered an FIR against Nilesh and his wife Ashwini Johi (41), a resident of Kothrud. Rohit Gulab Khilare (31), a resident of Karve Nagar, has lodged a complaint (168/23) at the Warje police station. The incident was happening from May 2022.

According to the police, Nilesh Joshi told people that he has a business Real Value Enterprises and it has good dealings in NSB and BSF and won their trust. He informed them about a scheme which will fetch good annual returns. He accepted deposits of ₹86.75 lakh from 32 people. He did not provide any returns and cheated them. The police have registered an FIR against Joshi and arrested him. PSI Javalgi is probing the case.
