Major Setback to Pakistan! UN Declares Taliban Leader ‘Noor Wali’ Close to Pak Army As Global Terrorist

New Delhi : Pakistan, called the nursery of terror, has suffered a major setback from the United Nations. The United Nations has declared Pakistan-based terrorist Noor Wali Mehsud an international terrorist. Mehsud is the kingpin of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Nur Wali Mehsud was declared the leader of the Taliban after Fazlullah was killed. In June 2018, Taliban leader Fazlullah was killed in a US drone strike. Noor is said to be close to the Pakistani army. He lives in the tribal region of Pakistan and from there executes terrorist attacks in many countries including Afghanistan. Mehsud is also believed to have links with al-Qaeda and ISIS.

The US has already held Noor Wali responsible for the terrorist attacks in Afghanistan. In the release issued by the UN, it has been told that after the declaration of Global Terrorist, all the properties of Mehsud will be sealed. No matter where they are in the country. Apart from this, travel bans will be imposed on him. Procurement of arms will also be banned.

Mehsud arranges money for terrorists
According to the UN banning committee, Noor has been carrying out finance, planning and related activities for terrorist attacks. He also conspired to reinforce a terrorist organization like al-Qaeda. Noor’s gestures lead to attacks in Afghanistan. The Taliban have two factions. One operates from Afghanistan. Another from Pakistan. The Pakistan faction is not included in the agreement reached between the US and the Taliban.

Noor Wali is close to Pakistani army
Noor Wali Mehsud is believed to be very close to the top military officers of Pakistan. Mehsud lives in the area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are many TTP bases in Khyber itself. They attack Afghanistan after crossing the border. According to the UN, it has also attacked the Pakistani army in North Waziristan. But, America has said many times that TTP terrorists get shelter from Pakistan. So, after getting help from Pakistan’s army, the matter of attacking it seems contradictory.
