Kolhe will be given major responsibility in Assembly polls

NPnews24 Online Pune: Shirur constituency’s Member of Parliament (MP) from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), who was in discussion for his speeches in the Lok Sabha, Dr Amol Kolhe is likely to be given a major responsibility for the party ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections in Maharashtra. Former deputy chief minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar recently gave hints about this.

Speaking at an event in Bhosari, Pawar, who was asked questions about Kolhe, said that the later would now be given the responsibility of the State for the forthcoming Assembly elections.

Party workers complaint to Pawar that after being elected to the Lok Sabha, Kolhe was not coming to the constituency.

Pawar replied to them by saying, “Do you want an MLa or an MP to go door to door or do you want to chat with them on a paan stall? Kolhe is doing a good job as an MP in Delhi. He had raised the issues of farmers in Parliament.” “The Prime Minister also praised his effective speech. In the forthcoming Assembly election, he will be back in the State and work along with Sharad Pawar, Jayant Patil, Dhananjay Munde, Chhagan Bhujbal and Supriya Sule,” the former deputy chief minister added.
