Kerala High Court’s big comment in a divorce case, it is common practice to make multi-housework

KERALA : The divorce case is not new to the court. But the Kerala High Court has made a big comment regarding a divorce case. He has not considered it wrong to punish the elders or sometimes call them abusive words. He has also considered it common practice to do multi-house work. The Kerala High Court made this remark last week while accepting a petition to annul a person’s marriage.

It was stated in the plea that his wife forced him to stay with his mother and started torturing her mentally. A two-judge bench headed by Justice AM Shafiq has also told the wife to remain separate for the person to become an alcoholic.

The court said that from the evidence it appears that there was no mutual bond between the mother of the defendant and the petitioner and there were often quarrels between the two. In such a situation, it is common that the wife will constantly try to keep the husband separate from family life. This must have been difficult for the husband. The court further said that becoming a petitioner, in this case, can only be considered as a natural pressure put by the defendant.
