India Posts invites applications for 1421 GDS vacancies to Kerala circle

Post Office of India is inviting applications for recruitment to the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS). Eligible and interested candidates can apply for Kerala Postal Circle on the official website of India Post i.e. indiapost.gov.in from March 8, 2021. The last date for Kerala GDS Recruitment is April 7, 2021.

According to the Kerala GDS notification, there are a total of 1421 vacant positions which are available in Calicut, Cannanore, Kasaragod, Manjeri, Ottapalam, Palghat, Thalassery, Tirur, Vadakara, Alleppey, Alwaye, Changanacherry, Ernakulam, Idukki, Irinjalakuda, Kottayam, Mavelikara, Trichur, Pathanamthitta, Quilon, Tiruvalla, Trivandrum North and Trivandrum South. Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, the local language, and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.

Candidates who will apply for the post will have to pay Rs 100/- as application fees if belonging to y OC/OBC/EWS Male / trans-man category. The applicant can also pay the fee through the online mode of payment using the URL provided on the Home page.

18 to 40 years (Age relaxation for reserved category as per govt. norms. No age relaxation for EWS Category). Eligible and interested candidates can register themselves on https://indiapost.gov.in or https://appost.in/gdsonline till April 7, 2021.
