IMF: Global economic growth remain downside
NPnews24 online: In recent data revelation International Monetary Fund global forecast is at 3.2 percent in 2019, picking up to 3.5 percent in 2020. India’s economy is set to grow at 7.0 percent in 2019, picking up to 7.2 percent in 2020.

Also risks to the forecast are mainly to the downside, IMF said. “They include further trade and technology tensions that dent sentiment and slow investment; a protracted increase in risk aversion that exposes the financial vulnerabilities continuing to accumulate after years of low interest rates.
The IMF also point out that global trade volume growth declined to around 0.5 percent on a year-over-year basis in the first quarter of 2019.
