Hotelier’s throat cut due to Nylon manja in Warje

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | Nylon manja (kite string) has not only proven disastrous for birds but also claimed the lives of many people. On Sunday, a hotelier’s throat was cut due to the manja. (Pune Crime News)

The hotelier has been identified as Srikanth Lipane (27). The incident took place near Dhonewada in Warje at 4.30 pm on Sunday.

In this case Nikhil Gopinath Lipane (29) from Jambhulwadi lodged a complaint at the Warje-Malwadi Police Station.

According to the police, Shrikant Lipane was riding a motorcycle on the service road on Sunday afternoon. His throat was cut due to the manja. Passers-by immediately admitted him to the Mai Mangeshkar Hospital. His condition is now improving.
