Duplicate clothes of Calvin Klein worth ₹7 lakh seized

It has come to light that duplicate clothes of Calvin Klein are being sold in the market. The police have seized duplicate shirts and trousers worth ₹6.98 lakh from Raj Garments in Fursungi. They were being sold under the guise of original Calvin Klein clothes. (Pune Crime News)

 

Sachin Gosavi (41), a resident of Mumbai, has lodged a complaint (300/23) at the Loni Kalbhor police station. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR against Asaram Kisnaram Kharol and Savarram Ramdev Chowdhary.

 

According to the police, the complainant works as Field Officer for Calvin Klein. He got information that duplicate clothes of Calvin Klein were being sold at Raj Garments at Mantarwadi in Fursungi. Accordingly, Sr PI Bramhanand Naikwadi of Anti-Dacoity and Vehicle Theft Cell of Pune police Crime Branch raided Raj Garments. He found 207 duplicate trousers which had tag of Calvin Klein, 42 cotton trousers, 108 shirts, 82 T-shirts and 11 trousers totally worth ₹6.98 lakh. The police have registered an FIR under the Copy Right Act.
