Driver hits accelerator instead of brakes, see what happen next?

NPnews24 Online, New Jersey: Woman from New Jersey plunged her car into the Hackensack River afternoon after she hit the accelerator instead of the brakes. As footage released by the city of Hackensack Fire Department shows the moment the woman hit the accelerator pedal.

In the same, fire department shared CCTV footage of the incident. “The occupants of the car self-extricated to the shoreline,” they wrote. The car was being driven by a 64-year-old and had a passenger-her daughter.

Fortunately, two managed to escape serious injury. Later on car was removed by towing company.
