Doctor Performed wrong surgery, suspended.
Npnews24 online: A Government doctor has been suspended over failing to perform a right surgery. Statement issued by Minister’s Office, said “concerned doctor has been suspended and detailed probe was launched.

Incident that took place at Manjeri Medical College Hospital in Malappuram district.
Health minister K. Shailaja said in the statement, utmost care should be taken.
The Kerala based surgeon instead of performing a nose surgery performed hernia surgery on the boy. After the incident came to light, the surgeon defended his move saying that the boy had a hernia and the surgery was performed to remove that. But later on, he admitted to his mistake.
Confusion occurred when another boy, with similar name of seven-year-old had come in for hernia surgery.
