Delhi budget 2021: free corona vaccine for Delhiites, special mohalla clinics to be made for women

 New Delhi: The Delhi Budget 2021-22, to be presented in the Assembly session starting Monday, is expected to have a special allocation for free COVID-19 vaccination at Delhi government hospitals.

The Finance Minister Manish Sisodia presented a proposed budget of 69 thousand crore rupees for 2021-22. Sisodia said that our goal is that by 2047, the per capita income of the citizens of Delhi should be equal to the per capita income of the citizen sitting in Singapore.

He said that this time the expenditure of the scheme for the people will be 55 per cent, while the government expenditure will be 45 per cent. At the same time, Sisodia also announced to give free corona vaccine to Delhiites. The public has great expectations from this budget of the Kejriwal government.

Delhi government will get corona vaccine free in all government hospitals in Delhi. For this, the Delhi government made a provision of Rs 50 crore in the budget. Soon, vaccination will increase from 45,000 to 60,000 per day.

Manish Sisodia said that women’s special Mohalla clinics will be opened in all areas of Delhi from next year. In the budget of Delhi, an allocation of 16,377 crores has been made for education, which is about a quarter of the total budget.
