Deceased Family in Maratha Morcha get government job

Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal has taken the lead in providing support to the family members of Kakasaheb Shinde, who suicided by jumping in Godavari river in Kaygaon Taluka for Maratha reservation. Kakasaheb’s brother Avinash Shinde has been given a job as clerk in the school of ‘Mashiprama’ in Dhhoregaon which is three kms far from Kaygaon. Avinash informed the school authorities that he will join once the religious rituals of his brother’s death will get over.

27-YEAR-OLD Kakasaheb Shinde who DROWNED DURING staging the protest of Maratha Kranti Protest by attempting suicide Kayagaon to support Maratha reservation. He jumped in the well. After his death, there has been a violent turn of the Maratha movement across the state. At the same time Maratha Kranti Morcha workers demanded 50 lakh rupees for the family of Kakasaheb Shinde, who was the first victim of the agitation, and one of the family members demanded government jobs as per the eligibility. After which district administration gave a written assurance to provide financial assistance and government job to the family of Kakasaheb Shinde, they accepted the body of Kakasaheb. Just two days after the incident, the Mashiprama Board, the largest educational institute in Marathwada, decided to hire one of Kakasaheb’s family member.

Secretary of the ‘Mashiprama’ Board Satish Chavan met Kakasaheb’s family in Kanadagaon and discussed the details. Afterwhich the family has expressed their desire to accept the job and after getting the religious rituals of Kakasaheb’s death, Avinash is asked to join the school.

No permission for vacant seats can be by government given to any organization due to the ban on job recruitment in the special permission category requested. However, for the special case Avinash whose family member who has lost his life because of unfortunate death has been approved by the Mashiprama Mandal through the Department of Education of Ministry.

Satish Chavan , General Secretary, Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal said, “Everyone has the duty to help the family at such a time. Accordingly, the Board decided to hire a person immidiately from Kakasaheb’s family. Until the approval of the government, the board will afford the salary of the concerned post given to Avinash. Also, the Chief Minister, Education Minister, has expressed his commitment to give this proposal as a special case.”
