Coronavirus India : Big Drop In New Cases, 55342 New Cases In 24 Hours, Active Cases Below 12%

New Delhi : There has been a big relief in new coming cases of coronavirus in the country, new coronavirus cases have been continuously declining since last days and during the last 24 hours 55342 new cases of coronavirus have been registered across the country. So far 71,75,881 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country. But in the last nearly 2 months, these are the lowest corona cases reported in a single day. Due to the decrease in new cases, there has also been a decrease in active cases of corona in the country.

According to the Union Health Ministry, there has been 23124 active cases of coronavirus reported across the country in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Monday to 8 am Tuesday and now there are 838729 active cases in the country. For the past few days, there has been a steady decline in active cases. Only 11.68 percent of the cases of coronavirus reported in the country have survived so far.

The speed of recovery of people from Corona is continuously improving, during the last 24 hours, a total of 77760 people have been cured across the country and till date a total of 6227296 people have been completely cured. Coronavirus recovery rate in the country has reached 86.78 percent.

The number of people who lost their lives due to corona has also reduced compared to earlier. During the last 24 hours, 706 people have died due to corona across the country. Till now, this deadly virus has killed a total of 109856 people across the country.

Continuous testing is being done across the country to identify corona patients, more than 10.73 lakh corona tests have been conducted across the country on Monday. The total coronavirus testing in the country has now crossed 8.89 crore. India is having the most corona tests worldwide after the US.
