Coronavirus India : Avoid Shaking Hands, Don’t Eat Frozen Meat, Government Issued Advisory on Coronavirus

New Delhi: Deadly coronavirus has spread from China has spread all over the world. So far, 563 people have died due to this virus in China alone. In other countries also, cases of infection are taking precedence. There are 3 positive cases of coronavirus and many suspected cases in India. Meanwhile, the Delhi government has issued a precautionary health advisory regarding coronavirus.

In this advisory issued by the Delhi government, people have been informed what they should do to avoid infection. People have been told not to eat frozen meat to avoid infection. Also, avoid shaking hands with people in public places. Giving information, officials said that for any inquiry related to this virus, a control room has also been established in the headquarters of the Directorate General of Health Services for 24 hours for seven days.

Significantly, after the virus came to light in Wuhan city of China, three cases have been reported from Kerala in India, after which it has been declared a state disaster. According to PTI, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan himself had ordered for this.

What else is there in Delhi government’s advisory?

>> Maintain cleanliness. Wash your hands with soap or sanitizer.

>> If a person has cold and cough, keep distance from him.

>> Drink more and more water throughout the day. It would be appropriate to take liquid food.

>> Eat nutritious and fresh food.

>> Even if you have a simple fever, consult a doctor immediately.

Around 2000 people under surveillance in Kerala
1,999 people travelling to China and Coronavirus affected countries in Kerala have been kept under surveillance. Most of these have been kept in special ward while 75 people have been kept in different hospitals. Officials said that earlier the condition of two people in which coronavirus infection has been confirmed is stable and not serious.

Symptoms of coronavirus are like swine flu. As a result of this infection, problems like running nose, fever, cold, shortness of breath, severe headache, pneumonia, bronchitis and sore throat arise.

Pets can be infected with the coronavirus too. According to a 2011 study, cats may have infectious peritonitis. A pantropic canine coronavirus can infect cats and dogs.
