Consumes spicy noddle chutney, gets lung damage

Npnews24 online : Did you heard, that someone gets lung damage prove to be a fatal for eating a street chowmein. In Haryana’s Yamuna Nagar, a three-year-old boy ended up with lung damage and he kept on the ventilator for 16 days after he consumed a large amount of the tongue-burning spicy chutney.

A resident of Yamuna Nagar, Majur, took his son Usman to a nearby street food shop to get him some chowmein for an evening snack.

Usman’s health started deteriorating the next day. Blood pressure fell to Zero and his body turned blue and black. He was then rushed to a hospital and had to be kept on the ventilator for two weeks.

Paediatrician Nitin Kumar said that Usman had low blood pressure when he had arrived at the hospital. An X-Ray revealed that his lungs were heavily damaged.

The doctor said that acetic acid is often mixed in street food to add flavour to it; however, it is not good for health if consumed in large amount.
