MLA Madhuri Misal, who is in charge of BJP’s campaign in Kasba Peth, city unit chief Jagdish Mulik, former mayor Murlidhar Mohol and BJP’s General Secretary Rajesh Pandey were present.

Demands made by BJP in the letter

1) There are names of only individuals in the list of voters at the voting centre at Jijamata School at Tambat Ali and names of their family members are missing. This is suspicious. Hence, when such names are found, the people’s documents should be carefully checked. There is a possibility that the law and order situation may arise and hence, police bandobast should be increased.

2) There is a possibility of bogus voting at the voting centre in Lonar Ali and the centre near the Daruwala police chowky. Hence, the voters’ Aadhaar and voters’ cards should be thoroughly checked.

3) The area of the voting centre behind Gujarati School City Post is a sensitive area. Hence, more policemen should be deployed in the area.
